Starair Consulting is headed by Mr. Harsh Vardhan, a well known Aviation expert in India with outstanding Academic & Professional Achievements. Mr. Harsh Vardhan holds the Distinction of being the Youngest Chief Executive of any Public Sector Enterprise in India.

He has comprehensive experience of setting up and running Large Airlines in the Country. He specializes in Areas of Aircraft Selection, Route Planning, Online Computerization, Financial Controls, Engineering and Operations set-up. He has handled wide range of aircraft inc. DO-228, F-27, HS-748, Boeing 757, A300, Boeing 707, 747 along with small Helicopters and Agriculture Aircraft.He has pioneered the concept of packaged tourism and night airmail in India in early eighties.

He distinguished himself in Air India in early Eighties and played an important role in its turn around. He subsequently became Chief Executive of Vayudoot, Government owned feeder airlines in India. During his tenure Vayudoot became one of the fastest growing airlines in the world. Its network spread over 95 cities in the country.

He was the first project consultant to Sahara Airlines and was also President of Jagson Airlines. He was Member of General Body of Special Organizing Committee and Chairman of “Air Freight and Air Travel Committee of ASIAD 82.

He also acted as the Chief Co-ordinator for Air India and Hotel Corporation of India for Non Aligned Head of State Summit Meeting in 1983.

He has delivered a lecture on “Management of Public Enterprises” at Oxford Center of Management Studies, University of Oxford, U.K. He has been widely reported in both Indian and International Media.
